Snow!!!

The weekend before Christmas we headed out to my parents for the weekend. This was the first time Sammy had experienced real snow. He wasn't too sure about what to do with it all, but he sure loved being pulled in the sled by cousin Tyson!!




We also went to visit Granny in her new home. It was so nice to see her. Sammy kept himself busy playing with her walker.

Spinning

Sorry about the lack of posts and pictures lately... can you believe that our computer crashed and our camera broke in the same week!!!
Anyway, just wanted to let you know that Sammy discovered spinning this week. So cute! He spins until he can't stand up anymore and then he falls on the floor and lays there until he can get up and do it again. This week I've been feeling like I'm "spinning" too, but it seems I don't have the time to lie on the floor and recover. Makes me think of something a pastor of mine used to say... "Remember that God created us as human beings not human doings". Hope you can all find some time to just "be" this week!

A deep breath...

You know how we all have those things that make us feel like we are enjoying some personal time? For me it is holding a warm latte and taking slow sips... it's like taking a deep breath and letting out a big sigh. Yummy... when I have a latte I'm having "Leanne Time" and it is good!!!
So I'm wondering... what equals personal time for you? Is it a good book, a hike on a beautiful fall day, a hobby...? Let me know.

I Just Love My Grandma!!!

Well, it has been a very long time since I've posted. Lots has happened. We had a family reunion at my parents a few weeks ago... what a great time... we haven't all been together in years except for weddings and funerals, but that's not the same.
Right after that my Grandma landed in the hospital... she is a very sick lady and doesn't have much time left so we've been making a lot of trips out to Enderby to see her. When the doctor told her how sick she was her response was "well... if there is nothing we can do about it we'll just sweep it under the carpet and not worry about it" She's so positve and appreciative... it really is inspirational... I have much to learn from her!!!

Happy Birthday Sammy!!

Yesterday was Sammy's birthday party... I wanted to have a jungle theme, but wasn't able to find enough stuff to pull it off. I was able to use my "Wild About You" stamp set again though! Love it!!! These were the party favours:

Time's Running Out!!!

Here is Sammy... Loves his bottle!!! He better enjoy it while it lasts 'cause the day after his birthday (next week) it's good-bye bottle... hello sippy cup!!

Holidays!!!

Just recently spent a few days at the Shuswap. Was great to have some family time and thankfully it didn't start raining until the day we left! How perfect! I'm still trying to catch up with laundry, but oh well... it was worth it!!
