So Productive

My sister and her family were here for the weekend. They came to help us paint our house. It's so great to have relatives who are willing to pitch in. The house was a summer project that we never quite got to so when my brother-in-law offered to help of course we said "yes"!! The guys did all the painting while my sister and I spent the day telling our kids to use their "inside voices". I don't know who was more pooped by the end of the day!
Today we are having our bathroom floor tiled so my next impossible task for the next 48 hours is to keep Sam out of the bathroom that doesn't have a door on it right now!!! Sheesh! Doing renos with small children in the house is NOT recommended!!

What a mess of emotions!

It has been an Awefully. Long. Time since I have updated and I know that some of you (by "some" I mean Teri) are looking for pictures of the kiddies. Sorry you'll have to keep waiting... I'll try and add some soon.
I just wanted to say this stage of kids starting to talk is the absolute funnest!!! The other day Sam put a two word sentence together all by himself and can you guess what it was?!!... "Hold Baby?" How cute is that?!!! Especially when you see him say it with his chubby little arms stretched out for his sister! Love that little boy!
In other kid news: Maarti laughed at me the other day! Love the toothless smiles that she is so willing to hand out.
Now for the news that is making me sad... I just found out last night that a girl I used to work with just lost her husband. They were traveling to visit her family and came across an accident. He got out to help and was hit by another car and killed. They have a toddler and she is 10 weeks pregnant. Keep Tara in your prayers. I can't imagine what it would be like to be in her situation.
I am reminded once again to enjoy every moment I have with the ones I love.

Smiley Kids

This is how Sam ususally looks after coming home from playing with his buddy Caleb... Doesn't matter how many toys are in the yard they want to play in the dirt!!

And here is our little girl. I love it when they get to the stage where they start smiling! And boy, is it fun dressing her up!! Jeremy just shakes his head everytime I decide it's "fashion show time" (which is quite often!!!).

Helpin' Dad

On the Farm

My Parents farm is the best place to be... especially for all the little boys in the family!! My dad built this "tractor train" and the boys love it. My dad loves it too... it allows him to mow the lawn and be the coolest babysitter in town all at the same time!!

When the tractor train isn't going then these pedal tractors are the next best thing. The boys have spend hours on these.

Four Generations

Here we are... four generations. This was a very special day for me. Granny has cancer and I had prayed all through my pregnancy that she would live to meet our baby... especially if it was a girl since they would share the same name. This summer Granny turns 90 and we are planning on being there for the bash!!

More Pictures

Auntie Sophie came over last week and brought these balls for Sam... she must have known that he needs to have something in each hand and that's why she gave him two!

Maartina looks a little less than impressed in this picture, but Sam loves to hold his sister and since she doesn't complain...
