Home Sweet Home

Jeremy allowed Sammy and I to leave him to batch for a week while we went to visit my parents on the farm. We had such a great time going for walks, visiting with family and reconnecting with friends. Attending Vernon Alliance is also a highlight... such an amazing church - I'm still pondering a message I heard a week and a half ago! So now we are home and I'm trying to figure out where "Home Sweet Home" is!!

Spring daisy cards

Now that it has stopped snowing it feels a little more like spring. Here are a few cards that I made recently... inspired by the sunshine!

I know lots of people aren't that crazy about this watercolor garden stamp set, but I love this daisy!!! I've made loads of cards with it and don't think I'll be getting tired of it any time soon!

Date Night Continued...

Remember when I said Jeremy and I were going to a ceramic studio for a date night. Here's what we made... I wouldn't say this was the funnest date we've ever been on, but it was good to do something different.

Our good friend, Grace, gave Sammy this hat and scarf... isn't it a scream!

Someone has to move!!!

My sister and her family were out to visit last weekend. Her youngest son is only 4 months older than Sam. It was so fun to see Sam with his cousins! Now I'm even more certain that one of us has to move so we can live closer to each other!!!

crafty, crafty...

I think the hardware store man is really starting to wonder why my husband keeps showing up for empty paint cans. Everytime Jeremy goes to Home Hardware I ask him to pick up another one. Decorating these cans is one of my new favorite things... here's one I made for my cousin's little girl for her birthday.

On the Move!!

For a guy who can't yet crawl Sammy can sure get around!!! The other day I came into the living room to find him half way under the couch!! (I'm sure that once he starts crawling he'll work off his belly and be able to make it all the way under!!!) Love this little guy!!!
