Well... not entirely perfect... we are in the process of house hunting and life just cannot be perfect while house hunting! The oppressive price tag that comes with some absolute dives is shocking! This probably deserves its own separate post, but I will say that we have looked at several houses with lovely curb appeal, but are UG-LY on the inside... so... on the off chance that any pastors read this blog... there is a free sermon illustration for you!

We totally relate to the house-hunting blues.
Why is it that everything in our price range has some major defect??? And I don't just mean a leaky toilet...how in the world can people charge so much for rotten wood and dated carpets?
Our conclusion is that we are going to have to build new... which we CAN do ourselves... someday, in the far off future, as finding an ecconomical piece of ground is as discouraging as finding a resonable house.
The whole process makes me very willing to put up with any inconvenience we have here in our rental!
